Despite being shorthanded due to their coach’s absence, North Quincy remained composed and determined, with interim coach Phi Nguyen emphasizing the importance of consistency and smart plays. Vivian Lee and Christine Lin secured wins in third and second singles, respectively, while Maggie Ching and Emily Lim dominated in first doubles. Anushka Raj and Lydia Zheng clinched the victory in a heated second doubles match, ensuring North Quincy’s clean sweep over Archbishop Williams.

Looking ahead, the Raiders face a tough challenge against third-seeded Westborough in the next round of the Div. 2 playoffs. Despite the tough competition, Nguyen emphasized the team’s love for tennis and commitment to self-improvement as their driving force.

With their eyes set on glory, North Quincy’s girls tennis team is prepared to face any challenge that comes their way, fueled by their passion for the sport and determination to succeed.
