Nurses and Employers Recognized and Honored with Promotion in Business Briefcase

St. Peter’s Health in Helena, Montana, recently honored two of its dedicated workers with Daisy Awards for Extraordinary Nurses. Registered Nurses Lindsey Howey and Kristin Steinke were recognized for their exceptional care and commitment to their patients.

Howey, who works in Same-Day Surgery, was praised by patients for going above and beyond to ensure their comfort and well-being. One patient shared how Howey stayed an extra 30 minutes after her shift to make sure they had everything they needed, making their hospital stay a positive experience.

Steinke, a care manager in clinics, was commended for her resourcefulness and kindness in assisting high-acuity patients with finding resources and navigating the health system. Colleagues described her as being kind beyond words and building trust with patients who are struggling.
