Ohio House Democrats have laid out a comprehensive plan to overhaul the education system in the state, with a focus on increasing funding for public schools and implementing stricter oversight of private school vouchers. In a recent press conference, Democratic leaders highlighted a series of bills aimed at improving the quality of education for all students in Ohio.

One of the key pieces of legislation is House Bill 10, which aims to fully implement and fund the Fair School Funding Plan. This bipartisan bill seeks to allocate funding to public schools based on the needs of individual districts rather than property values, ensuring a more equitable distribution of resources.

Additionally, House Bill 575 and House Bill 567 target private school vouchers, with a focus on increasing financial accountability and transparency for schools that receive vouchers.
