Owner of Bluffs Physical Therapy Recognized During Small Business Week

Scottsbluff business owner Michael Moravec has been recognized for his outstanding contributions and resilience in the business world. Moravec, the owner of Bluffs Physical Therapy, was recently named Nebraska’s Small Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

During ceremonies in Washington, D.C., Moravec received the prestigious award from SBA Administrator Isabel Casillas Guzman. Tim Mittan, SBA Nebraska district director, commended Moravec for his dedication and hard work, stating that he truly deserved the recognition.

Despite facing setbacks in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Moravec persevered and managed to grow his practice from one employee to a team of 24 at Bluffs Physical Therapy.
