Paddy Pimblett issues caution to Bobby Green before UFC 304, calling him a ‘horrible person’

Reading Time: < 1 minute

In a fiery pre-fight exchange, UFC rising star Paddy Pimblett has made it clear that he has no respect for his upcoming opponent, Bobby Green. The two fighters are set to face off on July 27 in the main event of UFC 304 in Manchester, England, and tensions are running high.

Green, who called for the fight after a victory over Jim Miller at UFC 300, has been trash-talking Pimblett, calling him a “spoiled brat” and telling him to “shut the f*** up.” However, Pimblett has not taken the bait, dismissing Green as a “bellend” and a “proper wanker.”

Despite his disdain for Green, Pimblett acknowledges his opponent’s skills, particularly in striking. However, he believes that Green’s chin is suspect after a previous fight with Jalin Turner. Pimblett is confident in his own abilities, stating that he can see himself knocking Green out or submitting him, potentially becoming the first fighter to submit Green in over a decade.

With a win over Green, Pimblett sees an opportunity to climb the lightweight rankings and eventually face his original desired opponent, Renato Moicano, who is currently ranked No. 10. Pimblett believes that a victory over Green will solidify his status as a legitimate contender in the division.

As the anticipation builds for their showdown at UFC 304, fans can expect a heated battle between Pimblett and Green, with both fighters looking to make a statement in the octagon.
