Dillon Danis Finds Himself in Another Fight He Can’t Win
Former Bellator athlete Dillon Danis has once again found himself embroiled in controversy after a heated exchange with MMA fighter Paige VanZant. The drama unfolded after VanZant dismissed Danis as not a real fighter while discussing MMA fighters transitioning into boxing.
Danis retaliated on social media, claiming VanZant was upset he didn’t pursue a relationship with her and threatened to expose their alleged encounters in Las Vegas. However, VanZant quickly debunked Danis’ claims, recounting a cringeworthy encounter where he asked her to engage in a questionable act in front of other UFC fighters.
VanZant didn’t hold back, calling out Danis for attempting to damage her marriage and labeling him a “piece of shit.” Her husband, Austin Vanderford, also chimed in, challenging Danis to a fight in either MMA or boxing.
Since his release from Bellator, Danis has struggled to find success, with his most recent bout ending in a disqualification loss against Logan Paul. He is also facing legal troubles from Paul’s fiancée for alleged online harassment.
As the feud between Danis and VanZant escalates, it remains to be seen if the grappler will accept Vanderford’s challenge and step back into the cage. But one thing is clear – Danis may have picked a fight he can’t win this time.
