Pakistan’s Permanent Ambassador to the United Nations, Munir Akram, made headlines during the General Assembly meeting this month with his scathing attack on India, labeling the country as a “dangerous entity.” Akram went on to accuse India of being involved in targeted and extra-judicial assassinations not only in Pakistan but also in other countries.

Quoting a report from a leading US daily, Akram stated, “The new India comes into your home and kills you.” He further elaborated on India’s alleged campaign of targeted assassinations, highlighting the government’s role in these heinous acts.

During his address to the General Assembly, Akram emphasized Pakistan’s concerns over India’s alleged state terrorism, extending beyond its borders. In response to these allegations, India has denied any involvement in the targeted killings, with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar refuting claims of Indian nationals’ participation in the assassination of a designated terrorist in Canada.
