Pams Travels and Tours Reveals Upgraded Restrooms at Historic Bower’s Tower

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Pams Travel, a renowned Travel and Tourism company in Nigeria, made a significant impact on Sunday by unveiling the newly refurbished toilet facilities at the historic Bowers Tower in Ibadan. The Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Olanike Mustapha, who has been in the Travel and Tours industry for 20 years, spearheaded this initiative as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility.

Mrs. Mustapha expressed her commitment to enhancing the tourism sector in Oyo State by upgrading the iconic tower’s facilities. She emphasized the importance of taking action to improve the state’s tourism sites rather than just complaining about their conditions. Despite the unexpected costs involved in the renovation, Mrs. Mustapha remained determined to see the project through to completion.

The State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun, commended Pams Travel for their dedication to the tourism sector and described the refurbished facilities as a legacy project that would inspire others to contribute to the industry. He also announced upcoming tourism events and called for support from stakeholders to promote domestic tourism in the state.

In addition to the toilet facilities renovation, Pastor Mustapha, CEO of MTS Geoservice Limited and husband of Mrs. Mustapha, pledged to renovate a building at the tourism site. Other stakeholders, including representatives from the Oyo State Tourism Board and cultural centers, praised Pams Travel for their efforts and encouraged others to follow suit in developing tourism sites in Oyo State.

The event was attended by various dignitaries and officials from the tourism sector, highlighting the significance of Pams Travel’s contribution to the enhancement of tourism in the region. This initiative sets a positive example for other companies and individuals to actively participate in the development of tourism destinations in Nigeria.
