The Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation (AGF), in collaboration with Skyrize Partners and Nestlé UAE, has launched the fourth cohort of the Nomu Women program in Abu Dhabi, aiming to empower Emirati and Arab women in the corporate sector and beyond.

The Nomu Women program, now in its fourth iteration, focuses on enhancing the management and leadership skills of women participants, providing them with valuable insights into marketing and sales in the fast-moving consumer goods sector. Over the course of a 5-week program, a cohort of 48 women will undergo training to develop their skills and collaborate on a real-life case study designed by Nestlé.

The program highlights the importance of gender equality and women empowerment in the workplace, emphasizing the need for creating pathways to meaningful careers for women. Mona Ghander, VP Programs and Partnerships of AGF, stated, “It’s not solely about skill development; it’s about fostering future women leaders. By collaborating with industry leaders, we’re maximizing our impact, placing these talented women where they can drive real change.”

Sarah Sefiane, the Founder of Skyrize Partners, emphasized the commitment to providing practical skills and connecting participants with female mentors from the private sector. She noted, “Through this strategic partnership, our training series has been designed to impart executive-level expertise, ensuring the initiative has a substantial and lasting impact.”

Sergej Pracevic, General Manager for Nestlé UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar, expressed the company’s commitment to empowering future female leaders with essential skills for success in the workforce. He stated, “As we welcome these talented women to Nestlé, we aim to inspire them on leadership, business, and our fascinating Food and Beverage sector, nurturing their professional growth and success.”

Nestlé, a prominent player in the UAE’s food and beverage industry, operates across the Emirates with offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al-Ain, Fujairah, and Ras AlKhaimah. The company locally produces a range of products and employs over 1,300 people, contributing to the economic growth of the region.

The collaboration between AGF, Skyrize Partners, and Nestlé underscores a shared vision for empowering women and creating a positive impact on the community. Through the Nomu Women program, these organizations are working together to equip women with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their careers and become future leaders in their respective fields.
