Passenger’s Violent Assault on Oklahoma Bus Driver Leads to Crash

Reading Time: < 1 minute

A bus driver in Oklahoma found himself in the middle of a brutal assault last week, which was captured on video and resulted in a massive crash and an arrest. The incident unfolded when passenger Tihron Harrison became enraged after the driver refused to drop him off at a specific cross street and instead told him to wait for the next designated stop.

Harrison then lashed out at the driver, punching him in the face while the bus was still in motion. The driver tried to fight back, but Harrison pulled him out of his seat, leading to a struggle as the bus continued down the road. The situation quickly spiraled out of control, causing the bus to veer off course and crash into a business head-on.

Despite the violent attack, the driver managed to stay in his seat thanks to his seatbelt, preventing him from being thrown through the windshield. The driver, although suffering bumps and bruises, was evaluated at a medical facility and is currently taking time off work to recover. Fortunately, no one inside the building was injured in the crash.

Harrison attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by authorities. He was taken to the hospital for evaluation before being arrested. The charges he will face are still unclear. The Oklahoma City Police Department commended the driver for following city policies to ensure the safety of everyone on board.
