Patek Philippe Watch Owned by Sylvester Stallone to be Auctioned by Sotheby’s

Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone is giving fans a chance to own a piece of his luxurious legacy as Sotheby’s prepares to auction off 11 of the “Rocky” star’s watches in New York City on June 5.

Stallone, known for his iconic roles in action films, shared his emotional connection to the timepieces, stating, “It’s not about keeping time, it’s about keeping in step with where you are in life.”

The highlight of the auction is Stallone’s rare Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime, expected to fetch between $2.5 million and $5 million. The white gold timepiece, described as the “holy grail,” features twenty complications, including five chiming modes and six patented innovations.

The Grandmaster Chime, purchased by Stallone in 2021, will be auctioned off with its original casing, a white gold presentation box engraved with the actor’s name, cufflinks, a collection book, and even an iPad and set of AirPods in Patek Phillipe leather cases.

Stallone expressed his passion for collecting watches, emphasizing the history, craftsmanship, and artistry behind each timepiece. Other luxury brands featured in the auction include Cartier, Rolex, Piaget, and Panerai.

The auction will be a live event with two sessions on June 5, offering fans and collectors the opportunity to own a piece of Stallone’s watch collection and experience the thrill of bidding on these prestigious timepieces.
