Penn Cambria’s Josh Stolarski made history at the PIAA Class 2A track and field championships by winning two state titles in the 400-meter dash and the 200-meter dash. Stolarski, who had previously won a state championship as a junior, set a new personal best time of 47.1 seconds in the 400-meter dash and edged out his competitor in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.98 seconds.

Stolarski’s impressive performance not only secured his place as a top athlete in his school but also earned him a spot on the National Federation of State High School Associations honor roll. His determination and drive to succeed were evident as he spoke about his goals and aspirations for the future.

The support of his mother, Marianne Stolarski, played a significant role in his success, as she has been a constant source of encouragement throughout his sports career. Stolarski’s dedication to training and his relentless pursuit of excellence have paid off, as he now looks towards the next stage of his athletic journey – competing at the collegiate level.

With his eye on running Division 1 and eventually competing professionally, Stolarski’s achievements at the state championships have solidified his place as a standout athlete not only in Pennsylvania but potentially on a national level. His remarkable performance and unwavering determination serve as an inspiration to aspiring athletes and a testament to the power of hard work and perseverance.
