The preliminary investigation revealed that an adult male pedestrian was crossing Shelbyville Road when he was struck by a shuttle bus traveling eastbound. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The LMPD Traffic Unit is currently investigating the incident.
