Philippines to Highlight Tourism Attractions at Arabian Travel Market and Seoul International Travel Fair 2024

The Department of Tourism and the Tourism Promotions Board are gearing up to showcase the Philippines’ tourism offerings at two major travel and trade events this month. The delegation will be led by Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco and other key officials, along with select members from the House of Representatives.

The Philippines will make its presence felt at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2024 in Dubai, with a focus on innovation and sustainability in tourism. The country will highlight the Travel Philippines app, contactless engagement devices, and prominent advertisements to attract attendees.

With a larger booth space and 16 private sector co-exhibitors, including hotels, tour operators, and DMCs, the Philippines aims to position itself as a top Asian destination. The country seeks to capitalize on the growing interest in international travel from the Middle East, particularly from GCC countries.

In addition to ATM, the Philippines will also participate in the Seoul International Travel Fair (SITF) 2024 in South Korea. The event serves as the largest international travel fair in the country, attracting thousands of visitors and exhibitors.

Tourism Secretary Frasco emphasized the importance of these events in promoting the Philippines as a tourism powerhouse in Asia and the world. With a focus on showcasing the country’s diverse offerings in gastronomy, culture, and hospitality, the Philippines aims to solidify its position as a preferred destination for travelers from key source markets.
