The 48-year-old actress was seen holding hands with her 7-year-old daughter as they arrived at the Brooklyn Museum for the event.
Charlize looked chic in a black long-sleeved top paired with a tan maxi skirt adorned with black lettering. Despite being indoors, she sported a pair of sunglasses and had her hair elegantly tied back in a bun. August, on the other hand, looked adorable in a blue and white jacket paired with a white dress and accessorized with a black clutch purse.
The mother-daughter duo seemed to be enjoying their time together, with Charlize’s eldest daughter, Jackson, notably absent from the outing. Charlize has been raising her daughters as a single mom since adopting them in 2012 and 2015.
Last year, Charlize shared insights into her parenting journey, revealing that her kids, including August, share a love for Taylor Swift. She took August to one of Taylor’s concerts in 2023, while Jackson opted to see the “Eras Tour” concert movie with friends.
Despite being a Hollywood superstar, Charlize’s children sometimes struggle to fully grasp her career. In a candid interview, Charlize mentioned that her kids often joke about her job, with her older daughter even finding it embarrassing to see her mom on billboards without a shirt.
