Pierre Anjolras named as Chief Operating Officer at VINCI

Pierre Anjolras has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of VINCI, a global player in concessions, energy, and construction. The decision was made by VINCI’s Board of Directors, chaired by Xavier Huillard, on 3 May 2024.

Anjolras, who joined the VINCI Group in 1999, has a wealth of experience in motorway concessions. He previously served as the Chief Operating Officer of Cofiroute in 2004 and later became the Chief Executive Officer of ASF in 2007. In 2010, he took on the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Eurovia, eventually becoming Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in 2014.

In 2021, Anjolras was appointed as the Chairman of VINCI Construction, where he successfully brought together Eurovia and VINCI Construction. This reorganization led to a significant improvement in VINCI Construction’s performance.

The appointment of Anjolras as Chief Operating Officer is seen as the first step in the implementation of the succession plan for Xavier Huillard, whose term as Chief Executive Officer of VINCI will end in 2025. However, Huillard will continue to serve as Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors until the 2026 Annual General Meeting.
