Reading Time: < 1 minute

Planet Fitness, a leading fitness brand, has announced the return of its High School Summer Pass™ program, offering free access to its 2,500+ locations in the U.S. and Canada for teens aged 14-19. This initiative comes as a new study reveals that 90% of Canadian teens believe physical activity can positively impact their lives and boost mental health.

The program, running from June 1 to August 31, aims to help teens prioritize their physical and mental well-being during the summer break. With over $200 million invested in waived membership dues since the program’s inception, Planet Fitness is committed to promoting youth health and wellness.

According to a recent study commissioned by Planet Fitness, 54% of teens face mental health and anxiety struggles, while 66% of parents express concern about their teens’ mental well-being. The study also found that regular physical activity can have a significant positive impact on teens’ overall wellness.

Teens participating in the High School Summer Pass program will have access to free fitness training from certified trainers, tailored workouts in the Planet Fitness App, and workout plans on the Planet Fitness website. This initiative aims to support teens in establishing healthy habits and staying active during the summer months.
