The Lake Placid girls flag football team made history on Tuesday as they played their first-ever game at the North Elba Show Grounds. Despite a 19-7 loss to the Plattsburgh Hornets, the Blue Bombers showed determination and grit throughout the game.

The Hornets took an early lead, going up 7-0 at halftime and extending it to 13-0 in the second half.
