Plaza Premium Group (PPG) Expands Presence in Middle East with $100 Million Investment
Plaza Premium Group (PPG), a leading airport hospitality service provider, has announced its plans to open an office in Saudi Arabia with a significant investment of US$100 million. The investment aims to expand PPG’s presence in the Middle East and enhance its offerings in the region.
The funds will be allocated towards various initiatives, including the opening of world-class lounges, establishing a global airport concierge service with white-glove service, creating innovative dining outlets, and exploring opportunities for in-terminal hotels. This move reflects PPG’s commitment to providing top-notch hospitality services to travelers in the Middle East.
Deputy CEO Bora Isbulan will lead this initiative and oversee the business development, commercial, and marketing divisions. He will also work on forging strong alliances throughout the region to support PPG’s expansion plans.
PPG has been operating in the Middle East since 2014 and has established a strong portfolio of airport lounges, hotels, and F&B outlets. The company currently operates in 15 locations across eight international airports in key regional cities such as Amman, Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Dubai, and Muscat.
The investment in Saudi Arabia is part of PPG’s larger goal of expanding its global footprint to 500 locations by 2025. The company plans to invest a total of US$300 million over three years globally, with a focus on enhancing its presence in the Middle East.
According to Song Hoi-See, founder and CEO of PPG, the investment in the Middle East will add value to the development of airport hospitality services in the region. He believes that the Middle East represents the future of travel and tourism, with its blend of ancient culture and modernity aligning with PPG’s ethos of innovation and growth.
“This is an exciting time to invest in the Middle East, a region that exemplifies the future of travel and tourism. It is rich in ancient culture yet embraces modernity, reflecting PPG’s ethos of innovation and growth alongside our travel partners,” said Song Hoi-See.
PPG currently operates in 80 airports, 30 countries, and 250 locations worldwide. The company’s expansion in the Middle East is a strategic move to capitalize on the region’s growing travel and tourism industry and provide travelers with premium hospitality services.
With its ambitious investment plans and commitment to excellence, Plaza Premium Group is set to redefine airport hospitality in the Middle East and create unforgettable experiences for travelers in the region.
