Police across the country have been clearing protesters from college campuses and dismantling encampments that have been set up since the beginning of the Israel-Hamas conflict. From the University of Pennsylvania to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, officers in riot gear have been enforcing orders to disperse.

At the University of Wisconsin, an agreement was reached between campus officials and the Students for Justice in Palestine to end the encampment peacefully. However, at the University of Arizona in Tucson, clashes between police and pro-Palestinian demonstrators led to arrests and a pitched battle.

In response to the escalating situation, Harvard University has begun sending out suspension notices to protesters who have been disrupting campus activities. The University of Denver also saw students erecting tents in protest, demanding divestment from Israel.

Meanwhile, at Columbia University in New York City, safety concerns led to a scaled-down commencement ceremony being held on a soccer field instead of the main campus. The traditional university-wide commencement ceremony was canceled, with smaller celebrations taking its place.

As tensions continue to rise on college campuses across the nation, students and protesters are making their voices heard in support of Palestine. The ongoing conflict in the Middle East has sparked a wave of demonstrations and encampments, leading to clashes with law enforcement and disciplinary actions by universities. The situation remains fluid as both sides stand firm in their beliefs and demands.
