Police suspect that Gurucharan Singh, the actor from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, may have planned his disappearance.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Gurucharan Singh has been missing for around 11 days now, and a new update from the Delhi Police suggests a shocking twist in the case. Police sources suspect that Singh may have planned his own disappearance.

Singh, known for his role as Roshan Singh Sodhi in the popular show, was reported missing by his father on April 26. A kidnapping case was registered, and multiple teams were deployed to track down the actor. However, the investigation took a surprising turn when it was revealed that Singh left his phone in the Palam area of Delhi before vanishing.

CCTV footage also captured Singh moving between different e-rickshaws, indicating a calculated plan behind his disappearance. A police source told News18, “Looks like, he had planned everything and has moved out of Delhi.”

After Singh’s father filed a missing complaint, an FIR was lodged under Section 365 (abduction) of the Indian Penal Code. The actor had reportedly left for Mumbai on April 22 but never reached his destination. Multiple teams are now working to locate the 50-year-old actor, who resides in the Palam area of Delhi.

Gurucharan Singh had left Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in 2020 to take care of his sick father. The show’s producer, Asit Kumarr Modi, expressed shock and concern over Singh’s disappearance. Fans and well-wishers are hoping for his safe return as the search efforts continue.
