In a shocking turn of events, a group of suspects charged in an armed home invasion in Vaughan, Ontario, were found to have been driving a stolen vehicle from a carjacking in Calgary just one month prior. The incident, which took place on Dec. 24, 2023, involved three masked men breaking into a home and holding the occupants at gunpoint while demanding money.

Fortunately, no one was seriously injured during the home invasion, but the suspects managed to flee the scene in a black sedan that was later identified as stolen during an armed carjacking in Calgary. Police were able to arrest five suspects in connection with the crime, seizing a loaded firearm and a sawed-off shotgun in the process.

The suspects have been identified as Lorrin Wolfe, Ali Mohammed, Keworth Bassaragh, Jamie Lee Tootoosis, and Elcee Jimmy, all of whom are believed to be part of a larger criminal network. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact York Regional Police or Crime Stoppers.

The brazen nature of the crime and the connection to a previous carjacking in another city have left residents in shock. The investigation is ongoing as police work to uncover more details about the suspects and their criminal activities. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
