The seventh China International Import Expo (CIIE) is gearing up to be a massive event this November in Shanghai, with over 800 companies from more than 60 countries and regions already signed up. The total exhibition area is set to reach nearly 270,000 square meters, making it a prime opportunity for global companies looking to tap into the Chinese market.

In the past, the CIIE has proven to be fruitful for multinational corporations, with tentative transactions worth $424.23 billion carried out by companies from 173 countries and regions. The expo serves as an ideal platform for foreign companies to connect with Chinese customers and expand their presence in China.

Last year, the American Food and Agriculture Pavilion made its debut at CIIE 2023, showcasing a variety of American agricultural products and highlighting the expo’s role in bilateral trade cooperation. The participation of over 230 US companies, including industry giants like Ford, Tesla, and Johnson & Johnson, made it the largest US delegation in history.

In addition to the Business Exhibition, the Country Exhibition at the sixth CIIE in 2023 featured 72 countries and international organizations showcasing their scientific and technological achievements, culture, and art. The Hongqiao Forum, a crucial part of the annual CIIE, saw record attendance in 2023 and featured 22 subforums on topics like financial reform, digital governance, and green investment.

As preparations for CIIE 2024 are in full swing, the expo is seeking the participation of more companies through global roadshows in countries like Finland, Iceland, and the United States. The first list of exhibitors has been released, including companies specializing in food, automobiles, green energy, artificial intelligence, and more. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this exciting event!
