President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed His Excellency Richard Marles, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence of Australia, at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi. The meeting between the two leaders focused on strengthening cooperation between the UAE and Australia, particularly in the areas of defence and military affairs.
Discussions also touched upon key issues in the Middle East and efforts to enhance security and stability in the region. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also met with His Excellency Taulant Bala, Minister of Interior of Albania, who conveyed warm greetings from Prime Minister Edi Rama and expressed wishes for continued prosperity in the UAE.
The meeting with the Albanian Minister of Interior highlighted opportunities for collaboration in policing and security, with a focus on leveraging the UAE’s expertise in these areas. Both countries aim to expand cooperation under the existing agreement between the UAE and Albania.
The gathering at Qasr Al Bahr included prominent figures such as Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior. The presence of various ministers, officials, and guests underscored the importance of the discussions and the commitment to strengthening ties between the UAE, Australia, and Albania.
