President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates recently welcomed a delegation from Canada’s prestigious McGill University at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi. In a significant collaboration between the Crown Prince Court in Abu Dhabi and McGill University, the McGill-UAE Fellowships in science and engineering were launched in 2015. This program aims to support Emirati scholars pursuing education in the faculties of science and engineering at McGill University, focusing on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Outstanding Master’s and PhD students are granted the fellowship, which provides them with training opportunities in distinguished scientific and engineering companies, as well as field visits within and outside of Canada under university supervision.
The Majlis, where the meeting took place, was attended by several prominent figures, including His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, along with other members of the royal family and senior officials.
