This program aims to support Emirati scholars pursuing education in the faculties of science and engineering at McGill University, focusing on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Outstanding Master’s and PhD students are granted the fellowship, which provides them with training opportunities in distinguished scientific and engineering companies, as well as field visits within and outside of Canada under university supervision.

The Majlis, where the meeting took place, was attended by several prominent figures, including His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, along with other members of the royal family and senior officials.

The collaboration between the UAE and McGill University underscores the commitment to nurturing talent and fostering innovation in the fields of science and technology. By providing Emirati scholars with opportunities to enhance their education and gain practical experience, the partnership aims to contribute to the country’s overall development and progress.

As the UAE continues to prioritize investment in its youth and build strategic partnerships with leading educational institutions, such initiatives are crucial in shaping the future workforce and driving innovation in key sectors.
