Preview of the 2024 WCC Women’s Tennis Tournament

The 2024 West Coast Conference Women’s Tennis Tournament is set to kick off in San Diego, Calif., at the Aztec Tennis Center on the San Diego State campus from April 25-27. This highly anticipated event will feature top teams from the WCC vying for the championship title.

Among the contenders are two programs ranked in the top-25 of the ITA rankings. No. 8 Pepperdine, who secured the regular season title by going undefeated in Conference matches, will enter the tournament as the top seed. The Toreros from the University of San Diego will be the No. 2 seed with an ITA ranking of No. 21.

Joining Pepperdine and USD in the six-team tournament are Pacific, LMU, Saint Mary’s, and Portland. The tournament will kick off with Pacific facing Portland and LMU taking on Saint Mary’s on Thursday at 1 p.m. The winners of these matches will advance to face the top seeds on Friday at 1:30 p.m.

Pepperdine, known for its dominant performance in Conference matches, will be looking to secure its ninth consecutive WCC Tennis Tournament Championship. On the other hand, USD will be aiming to dethrone the Waves and claim the title for themselves.
