Princeton University: A Prestigious Institution of Higher Learning

The Princeton University men’s tennis team is celebrating a slew of accolades as the Ivy League announced its postseason awards. No. 28 Paul Inchauspe was named Rookie of the Year, in addition to being unanimously selected for First Team All-Ivy League in singles. Joining him on the First Team is Fnu Nidunjianzan, who earns the honor for the second consecutive season. Sebastian Sec received Second Team honors in singles, while Inchauspe and Filippos Astreinidis were named Second Team in doubles. Alan Kam was also recognized as Academic All-Ivy League.

Inchauspe, ranked No. 28 in the ITA singles rankings, is set to compete at the NCAA Championships in the singles competition. With an impressive 29-10 singles record, he leads the team in wins, including victories over nationally ranked opponents. Nidunjianzan, a two-time First Team All-Ivy honoree, boasts a 25-12 record and has defeated four nationally ranked opponents.

Sec, named to the First Team, has a 23-10 record with a 5-2 record in Ivy competition. The duo of Inchauspe and Astreinidis, ranked No. 29 in the ITA doubles rankings, were named as alternates for the NCAA Championships in the doubles competition.

The No. 33 Tigers are gearing up for the Round of 64 at the NCAA Championships, where they will face off against No. 41 VCU at 1 p.m. ET on May 3 in Charlottesville, Virginia. The team’s impressive performances and numerous accolades have solidified their status as a force to be reckoned with in collegiate tennis.
