Pro-invest Group, a prominent private equity real estate asset manager and investment firm, has made a strategic decision to implement the Oracle OPERA Cloud Property Management System (PMS) to streamline operations across its properties. This move comes as Pro-invest aims to consolidate multiple PMS systems into a centralized platform capable of managing a diverse range of hotels, from independent properties to global brands.
Howard Phung, the director of digital, data, and technology at Pro-invest Group, emphasized the importance of selecting a technology partner with a proven track record and the ability to enhance operational capabilities while focusing on guest experience. With Oracle OPERA Cloud, Pro-invest will be able to centralize hotel and guest data, eliminate duplication, and inefficiencies caused by previous PMS solutions.
Following a successful pilot at The Sebel Canberra Campbell, Pro-invest has expanded the implementation of Oracle OPERA Cloud to three additional locations: Sage James Street, Sage Wollongong, and Country Comfort Perth. The company’s goal is to have the majority of hotels under both the Pro-invest Group and joint venture Vista Hospitality Group operating on OPERA Cloud by mid-2025.
Alex Alt, executive vice president and general manager of Oracle Hospitality and Retail, expressed enthusiasm for partnering with Pro-invest to modernize their properties with a secure cloud platform that simplifies data management and operations. This collaboration aims to set a new industry standard of innovation that enhances both property performance and guest experience.
Overall, Pro-invest’s adoption of Oracle OPERA Cloud signifies a significant step towards achieving operational efficiency, supporting growth ambitions, and delivering a seamless, integrated guest experience across their diverse portfolio of properties.
