Reading Time: < 1 minute

Davidson Chalmers Stewart, a leading commercial law firm, has recently announced the promotion of Jane Dickers to partner. With over 12 years of experience as a court practitioner and partner in high street firms in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, Jane brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role. She will be based in the firm’s Glasgow office, where she will be expanding the reach of the dispute resolution team.

Prior to joining Davidson Chalmers Stewart, Jane worked as a strategic communications consultant for top commercial property, financial, and professional service organizations. Her diverse background and experience in managing civil, criminal, and family cases throughout Scotland make her a valuable addition to the firm.

In Glasgow, Jane joins an all-female leadership team alongside partners Fiona Piper and Nicola Scott. She will be working closely with Sheila Webster, the head of the dispute resolution team, who recently returned to the firm after serving as President of the Law Society of Scotland.

Additionally, the firm has welcomed Vicky Ward back to its Glasgow corporate team as an associate. Vicky, who initially joined Kergan Stewart as a trainee, brings a fresh perspective and expertise to the team.

Laura Irvine, Managing Partner at Davidson Chalmers Stewart, expressed her excitement about Jane’s promotion and Vicky’s recruitment, highlighting the firm’s commitment to expanding its presence in the West of Scotland. Jane Dickers also shared her enthusiasm for her new role, emphasizing her dedication to serving businesses in the region and enhancing the firm’s commercial and property litigation services.

With these recent developments, Davidson Chalmers Stewart is poised for continued growth and success in the legal industry.
