Psych Sheet for U.S. Olympic Trials Released Prior to Scratches

The anticipation is building as the U.S. Olympic Trials are just around the corner, with the pre-scratch psych sheet released by USA Swimming. The nine-day meet, to be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, will see some of the biggest names in swimming competing for a spot on the team heading to the Games in Paris, France.

Katie Ledecky, a seven-time Olympic gold medalist, is set to chase her fourth Olympic team as the top-seeded swimmer in multiple freestyle events. Caeleb Dressel, who won five gold medals at the Tokyo Games, is also gearing up for the trials in the 100 free, 100 butterfly, and 50 free.

On the men’s side, Olympic champions Ryan Murphy and Bobby Finke are leading the field in their respective events. Carson Foster, Nic Fink, Luke Hobson, Matt Fallon, Jack Alexy, and Dare Rose are also expected to make a splash at the trials.

For the women, Kate Douglass and Regan Smith are among the top-seeded swimmers in their events. Torri Huske, Gretchen Walsh, and Claire Curzan are also set to compete in some exciting races.
