Rapid City Stevens Raiders Shine on Day One of Class AA Boys State Tennis Tournament

After an impressive performance on the first day of the Class AA Boys State Tennis Tournament, the Rapid City Stevens Raiders are making their mark. Currently in eighth place, the Raiders have shown their strength and determination as they head into the second and final day of competition.

With all six singles competitors advancing to day two, the Raiders are poised for success. Five of the competitors have already secured a spot in the 5th-place semifinals on Friday, showcasing their talent and skill on the court.

Standout performances include Dayler Segrist, Max Phares, Josh Mueller, Braeden Nelson, and Nathaniel Flynn, who have all displayed exceptional play throughout the tournament. Despite facing tough opponents, these athletes have shown resilience and determination in their matches.

In doubles action, the Raiders’ team of Mueller and Robbennolt have also made an impact, reaching the third-place match on Friday. Their teamwork and chemistry on the court have been key to their success in the tournament.
