Superstar Rajinikanth is embarking on his annual spiritual sojourn to the Himalayas, with plans to visit more sacred caves. The iconic actor, known for his spiritual beliefs, left Chennai and arrived in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, to kick off his journey.
In a conversation with ANI at Dehradun Airport, Rajinikanth shared his excitement for the trip, stating, “Every year I used to get new experiences that made me continue my spiritual journey again and again. I believe even this time, I will get new experiences.” He emphasized the importance of spirituality, mentioning that it brings peace and tranquility to individuals.
Recently, Rajinikanth visited the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi, where he sought blessings. The actor was also granted the prestigious golden visa by UAE’s Department of Culture and Tourism, expressing his gratitude to the Abu Dhabi government and his friend, MA Yusuff Ali, for their support.
On the professional front, Rajinikanth has completed shooting for his upcoming movie “Vettaiyan,” directed by TJ Gnanavel and co-starring Amitabh Bachchan. The film, Rajinikanth’s 170th, is set for a worldwide release in October this year.
