The upcoming movie ‘Srikanth’, starring Rajkummar Rao, is set to make a groundbreaking move by releasing with audio descriptions for the visually impaired. The film, based on the inspiring life of entrepreneur Srikanth Bolla, who founded Bollant Industries to provide employment to unskilled and differently-abled individuals, will now be accessible to a wider audience.
Scheduled to hit the screens on May 10, ‘Srikanth’ will be accompanied by an audio description on the XL Cinema app, allowing persons with low vision or blindness to enjoy the visuals of the movie. Rajkummar Rao expressed his excitement about this initiative, stating, “To experience the accessible version of ‘Srikanth’, visit any theatre, any show time of your choice.”
Srikanth Bolla, the real-life inspiration behind the film, is an Indian entrepreneur who overcame visual impairment to create job opportunities for people with disabilities. His remarkable journey will be honored through this movie, which also features actors Jyotika and Sharad Kelkar in lead roles.
