Ralph Lauren Presents Minimalist Fall/Holiday 2024 Collection

Renowned fashion designer Ralph Lauren showcased his Fall/Holiday 2024 collection in a surprisingly minimalist fashion show at his New York City offices. The intimate show, inspired by his first women’s fashion show in 1972, featured a soft palette of soothing neutral tones like tans, browns, grays, black, and metallics.

The star-studded front row included actors Glenn Close, Jessica Chastain, Kerry Washington, Rebecca Hall, and Jodie Turner-Smith. The show opened with supermodel Christy Turlington, now 55, in a sleek beige wool coat, embodying Lauren’s timeless ethos.

The collection featured daytime garments like tailored jackets and sweaters paired with trousers, as well as evening wear such as slinky, sequined gowns. Western accents like fringes on coats and cowboy hats made appearances, adding a touch of Lauren’s signature style.

After the show, guests headed to Lauren’s Polo Bar restaurant, where the designer was greeted with cheers. Lauren’s son, David, discussed the brand’s philosophy of creating new designs each season while revealing that they would not be dressing any stars for the upcoming Met Gala.

With a full plate of upcoming events including outfitting Team USA for the Olympics in Paris and a men’s presentation in Milan, Ralph Lauren continues to uphold its iconic style and philosophy in the ever-evolving world of fashion.
