Media baron and business tycoon Ramoji Rao passed away at the age of 87 while undergoing treatment at Star Hospital in Hyderabad early this morning. The news of his demise has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry and beyond.

Celebrities and well-known personalities paid their last respects to Rao, with Director S Shankar, actor Ram Charan, and the team members of the movie ‘Game Changer’ observing a moment of silence on set. Filmmaker SS Rajamouli and music composer MM Keeravani also arrived at the Ramoji Film City to offer prayers for the departed soul.

Rao’s legacy is vast, with successful business ventures in media production, film distribution, financial services, and hospitality. He was the driving force behind Eenadu, a major player in Telugu media, and the head of the ETV Network of television channels.
