With five wins in seven matches, KKR is currently placed second in the standings, and Ramandeep attributes this success to the clarity of roles established by Gambhir within the team.
Addressing concerns about Mitchell Starc’s availability due to injury, Ramandeep confirmed that the Australian pacer is fit and available for selection. Despite some criticism of Starc’s recent performances, Ramandeep praised him as a legend and emphasized the importance of not judging him based on a few matches.
On the other side, Punjab Kings will be without their captain Shikhar Dhawan, who is still recovering from a shoulder injury. Spin bowling coach Sunil Joshi expressed hope that Dhawan will be fit for the next match against Chennai Super Kings, with all-rounder Sam Curran serving as the stand-in skipper in the meantime.
