The Ray sisters from Austintown Fitch High School are taking the softball world by storm with their dynamic duo performance on the field. Freshman Kaliana Ray and senior Ayla Ray are proving to be a force to be reckoned with, leading their team to victory in a recent game against Boardman.

Kaliana, with her impressive .710 batting average and .743 on-base percentage, sets the stage for her sister Ayla, who boasts a team-high 28 RBIs and 10 home runs. The sisters’ chemistry and communication on the field are unmatched, with Kaliana setting the table and Ayla knocking in the runs.

In their latest game, the Ray sisters wasted no time making an impact. In the first inning, Kaliana got on base with a hit, and Ayla followed up with a two-run home run. They repeated the feat in the fifth inning, with Kaliana drawing a walk and Ayla hitting another two-run homer.

The rest of the Falcons’ lineup also stepped up, scoring six runs in the sixth inning to secure a 12-0 victory. Pitcher Sydnie Watts dominated on the mound, striking out 13 batters and allowing only one hit.
