The U.S. Supreme Court made a significant ruling against Warner Music in a copyright damages case involving a song by rapper Flo Rida. The court’s 6-3 decision, authored by Justice Elena Kagan, stated that there is no time limit for recovering monetary damages in copyright cases filed before the expiration of a statute of limitations. This ruling favored Miami music producer Sherman Nealy, who sued a Warner subsidiary and others in 2018.

In other entertainment news, Italian public broadcaster RAI issued an apology for mistakenly revealing domestic voting results for the Eurovision Song Contest due to a technical glitch.
