Perez, known for her roles in films like Spike Lee’s “Do the Right Thing,” testified that Sciorra had confided in her about the assault, detailing how Weinstein had pinned her arms above her head during the attack.

Meanwhile, Pedro Almodovar’s acclaimed film “Pain and Glory” dominated the 34th Goya Awards in Spain, taking home seven awards including best actor for Antonio Banderas and best director for Almodovar himself. Banderas, who has worked with Almodovar for nearly 40 years, expressed gratitude for their long-standing collaboration.
