The 15th annual Wiseco 2-Stroke World Championship Motocross, presented by Fasthouse, took place at Glen Helen Raceway, filling the air with the sweet sounds of two-stroke engines. The event showcased a variety of cool bikes, both new and old, with the only rule being two-strokes only.
The race attracted a mix of current and former pros, including Ryan Villopoto, Carson Brown, Mike Alessi, Justin Hoeft, and Josh Mosiman. In the end, Justin Hoeft and Sean Lipanovich emerged as the big winners in the Open Pro and 125 Pro divisions.
In the Pasha 125 Pro class, Lipanovich and Mosiman battled it out in the first moto, with Mosiman eventually taking the win. However, a rock in his rear sprocket forced Mosiman out of the second moto, allowing Lipanovich to secure the overall victory with consistent performances.
In the Open Pro class, Carson Brown dominated the first moto but was challenged by Hoeft in the second moto. Hoeft’s off-road conditioning helped him secure the overall win with a 2-1 finish, while Brown settled for second place.
Overall, the event was a thrilling showcase of talent and skill, with riders pushing themselves to the limit on the challenging Glen Helen Raceway track. Fans were treated to exciting races and impressive performances from some of the best in the sport.
