Reese Lemberg, a senior at St. Edmond, made a triumphant return to the cross country team after taking a break during her junior year. The decision to step away was difficult, but it ultimately reignited her passion for the sport. Lemberg’s comeback helped the Gaels qualify for the state championships, where they placed seventh overall in Class 1A.
In addition to her success on the cross country team, Lemberg is also a valuable member of the St. Edmond track squad, competing in the 800 and 1,500-meter events. She credits her time as a Gael athlete for bringing her many friendships and unforgettable experiences.
As she prepares to graduate, Lemberg reflects on the impact the Gael community has had on her life. She will miss the love and support of her teammates and coaches, as well as the connections she has made over the years.
