A patient recently graduated from the Inpatient Rehabilitation program at Northwest Health–Portage, marking a significant milestone in their recovery journey. The unit has revamped its celebration process for graduates, providing them with a certificate, homemade tote bag, and a Ms. or Mr. Independent bracelet. Jennifer Sobczynski, manager of the unit, shared that the team lines up to cheer, clap, hug, and give high-fives to the patients as they leave the unit.
