A patient recently graduated from the Inpatient Rehabilitation program at Northwest Health–Portage, marking a significant milestone in their recovery journey. The unit has revamped its celebration process for graduates, providing them with a certificate, homemade tote bag, and a Ms. or Mr. Independent bracelet. Jennifer Sobczynski, manager of the unit, shared that the team lines up to cheer, clap, hug, and give high-fives to the patients as they leave the unit. The program offers comprehensive care for individuals recovering from various medical conditions such as strokes, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and neurological disorders.
