IIT Madras has officially opened the registration process for the JEE Advanced 2024 Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) today. Aspiring candidates can now register for the AAT by visiting the official website jeeadv.ac.in. The registration link will be active until June 10 at 5 pm, with the AAT scheduled to take place on June 12 from 9 am to 12 noon.
The AAT is a crucial test for candidates looking to pursue the BArch (Architecture) programme, which is offered at IIT (BHU) Varanasi, IIT Kharagpur, and IIT Roorkee only. To apply for the JEE Advanced AAT 2024, candidates must have qualified in the JEE Advanced 2024 examination.
The AAT will be conducted at all IITs and will consist of a three-hour paper available only in the English language. Candidates are required to bring their own drawing and coloring aids to the examination hall. The results of the AAT will be declared on the JEE Advanced 2024 online portal on June 15, with the cut-off marks for passing the AAT to be decided by the Joint Implementation Committee.
Candidates who pass the AAT will be eligible for the BArch programme based on their category-wise All India Rank in the JEE Advanced 2024. There is no separate ranking in the AAT, and seats will be allotted solely based on the performance in the test. It is essential for candidates to stay updated with the official website for further information and announcements regarding the JEE Advanced 2024 AAT.
