According to sources with ties to the Biden camp who spoke to Politico, the derogatory nickname has been in use since 2022, when Trump met with white supremacist Nick Fuentes and Kanye West at Mar-a-Lago.

The alleged insult resurfaced recently in response to reports that Trump had fallen asleep in court during his New York hush money trial. An individual associated with Biden reportedly wrote, “Hitler Pig sleepy,” in a message thread discussing the incident.

The Trump campaign has vehemently denied the allegations, calling them “100 per cent fake news.” However, the story has gained traction, with social media users coming up with their own derogatory nicknames for the former president, such as “Sleepy Don” and “Don Snoreleone.”
