Report: Nvidia purchases second Israeli AI company, Deci

Deci, founded in late 2019 by Dr. Yonatan Geifman, Prof. Ran El-Yaniv, and Jonathan Elial, has developed an AI-based platform that enhances the accuracy and processing speed of algorithms driving AI applications. The company has already raised approximately $55 million in funding and employs dozens of workers.

This potential acquisition comes on the heels of Nvidia’s recent purchase of Israeli AI company Run:ai, which was valued at around $700 million. Run:ai has developed an operating system for new AI processors, utilizing advanced virtualization technologies to optimize computing resources for various tasks.

With the acquisition of Deci, Nvidia aims to further strengthen its position in the AI field, bridging the gap between complex AI algorithms and the computational power needed to run them efficiently.
