Deloitte India’s Tech Trends 2024 report has highlighted India’s continued dominance in the global technology sector, despite economic uncertainties. The report projects a revenue of US$254 billion for India’s tech sector in FY 2024, with a 3.8 percent year-on-year growth. This reaffirms India’s position as a trusted global leader in technology.

The report emphasizes India’s emergence as a key player in various domains such as spatial computing, the industrial metaverse, cloud computing, and generative AI. With over 1,600 Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in the country, India is on track to exceed US$100 billion in revenue by 2030, employing more than 4.5 million people across 2,500 GCCs nationwide.

The report also sheds light on key insights such as India’s leadership in spatial computing and the industrial metaverse, the growth potential of Generative AI, advancements in computing technologies, and the importance of prioritizing Developer Experience (DevEx) to drive sustainable growth and innovation.
