RFK Jr’s claim of being shot at with arrows in Peru contradicted by his traveling companions

Independent presidential candidate and conspiracy theorist Robert F Kennedy Jr has been caught in a web of lies as his past claims come under scrutiny. In a shocking revelation, a story he once told about being ambushed by Indigenous people with bows and arrows in Peru has been debunked by his own companions.

In his 1984 book, Kennedy claimed that he and his cousin Christopher Kennedy Lawford were attacked while rafting along a river in Peru. He detailed a dramatic scene where they lit a stick of dynamite and threw it at their attackers, causing them to retreat.

However, his traveling companions have now come forward to dispute the story. Blake Kenneduy, who was on the rafting trip, dismissed the tale as soon as the book was published, calling it “just fantasy.” Lawford also offered a less dramatic version of events in his own book.

This revelation adds to a string of outlandish statements made by RFK Jr, including conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 vaccine and a bizarre story about a parasitic worm eating part of his brain. He has also faced accusations of lying about his voting address and failing to garner support from his own family.

Despite his political ambitions, the Kennedy clan has publicly endorsed President Joe Biden in the 2024 race, distancing themselves from RFK Jr. His appearance at the Libertarian Convention was lackluster, and he was quickly eliminated from the nomination process.
