Reading Time: < 1 minute

Rishabh Pant, the dynamic wicket-keeper-batter, is all set to make a mark at the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies. After a successful stint with the Delhi Capitals in the recently concluded IPL, Pant is back in the Indian men’s cricket team and raring to go.

Despite facing doubts about his fitness following a car crash and multiple injuries, Pant not only led the Delhi Capitals but also showcased his batting prowess and wicketkeeping skills. With 446 runs under his belt, including three half-centuries and an impressive strike rate of 155.40, Pant proved his mettle on the field.

In a video shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Pant expressed his excitement about donning the Indian jersey once again. He mentioned how much he missed being on the field with his teammates and how different it feels to represent the country.

Pant also highlighted the significance of playing in new countries like the USA, which he believes will help in expanding the reach of cricket globally. As India gears up for their warm-up game against Bangladesh in New York on June 1, Pant is focused on adapting to the new conditions and making a significant impact at the T20 World Cup.

With Pant’s determination and skill set, Indian cricket fans have high hopes for his performance in the upcoming tournament, and the 26-year-old is eager to deliver on the big stage once again.
