Romeoville and Bolingbrook High Schools Ranked Among Top Illinois Public High Schools by US News

Valley View School District 365U high schools, Romeoville HS, and Bolingbrook HS, have once again made their mark in the education sector by being recognized in the 2024 U.S. News & World Report Annual Rankings of America’s Best High Schools. Romeoville HS has secured the 107th spot in the state of Illinois, while Bolingbrook HS follows closely behind at 127th place. These rankings place both schools among the top 17% of the 721 high schools in Illinois.

Principal Derek Kinder of Romeoville HS attributes the school’s steady improvement in rankings to the continuous emphasis on improvement and the unwavering support from the community and district administration. He also acknowledges the efforts put in by elementary and middle schools in preparing students for the challenges of high school. Bolingbrook HS Principal Dr. Jason Pascavage expressed his pleasure in the school being recognized once again, highlighting the dedication of students and staff in achieving this milestone.

Both schools also hold impressive rankings within the Southwest Prairie Conference, with Romeoville HS at fourth place and Bolingbrook HS at fifth. This recognition is not new for the schools, as they have consistently ranked in the Top 130 among Illinois High Schools for the past four years. Since the 2020 Rankings, Romeoville HS has climbed 41 places, while Bolingbrook HS has improved by 39 places.

The achievements of Romeoville HS and Bolingbrook HS are a testament to the commitment of the schools, staff, students, and the community towards providing quality education and preparing students for a successful future.
